India Post launches pre-pay email service

ndia Post has launched its pre-paying email and hybrid mail services in five pilot locations. After registering to use the service all customers need to do is use their pre-paid card and pin-code to send emails and hybrid mail requests from any machine. “On registration, each user is allotted a unique identification code, using which, mail can be sent from any location. The users can also use 200 designated ePost centres in the five states where the service has been launched as a pilot project,” explained the post office.
