US firm agrees transatlantic hybrid mail partnership with La Poste
US hybrid mail company Click2Mail.com has formed a partnership with La Poste Group to allow its customers next-day digital-to-physical mail delivery in France. Click2Mail, which has its headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, said that from mid-April, its customers will be able to use its cloud-based hybrid mail services to send documents to an additional 223m delivery points in France and the rest of Europe.
The service will allow customers to submit documents digitally via Click2Mail’s web portal, to La Poste’s hybrid mail subsidiary Maileva, where they will be then in turn printed, folded and posted by La Post document management subsidiary Docapost.
Click2Mail said its customers would save “significant” time and cost benefits in the service.
Options available to users of the service include use of mailing lists, personalisation of letters and certified mail.
Lee Garvey, the Click2Mail founder and CEO, said: “Our primary goal in creating this partnership with La Poste was to expand the opportunity for US businesses to send direct marketing mail into Europe.
“We’ve accomplished that by creatively leveraging hybrid mail technology to dramatically enhance the timeliness of postal communications,” added Garvey, a former US Postal Service executive.
Click2Mail has been operating since 2003, providing hybrid mail services for businesses of all sizes.
