Danish mail decreases due to electonic communications

Post Danmark, the Danish postal services company, has predicted that electronic communication will further reduce the traditional mail this year.

There was a reduction in the mail quantities last year due to electronic communication and the decrease will trigger cuts, according to Borsen, a Danish business newspaper.

The reduction in the amount of mail was 2% in 2001, Post Danmark has said.
