Emirates Post partners with Sharjah Awqaf to support endowment campaign

Emirates Post Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the General Secretariat of Awqaf in Sharjah, under which Emirates Post will distribute and sell endowment brochures and Awqaf charity coupons at post offices. This agreement aims to raise community awareness about endowment and its benefits to the people at large as well as the nation.

The agreement was signed by Abdullah Mohammad Al Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post and Talib Ibrahim Al-Marri, Director General of General Secretariat of Awqaf in Sharjah.

Mr. Al Ashram hailed the collaboration between Emirates Post and Sharjah Awqaf and said it would benefit the public as well as support a noble cause. He added that this agreement was part of Emirates Post’s ongoing efforts to support community-based initiatives spanning various social, economic and sports activities.

On his part, Mr. Al-Marri said the cooperation between Emirates Post and Sharjah Awqaf would help improve the performance of endowment in the General Secretariat of Awqaf departments in Sharjah and added that Awqaf Sharjah was keen to benefit from the expertise and services of Emirates Post.

Emirates Post’s MoU with Sharjah Awqaf is in line with the strategic goals of Emirates Post Group to build up effective collaboration with local institutions with the goal of making a positive impact on society.

Awqaf is a UAE’s leading institution promoting social awareness and progress according to the tolerant teachings of Islam that recognise the current realities and understand the future challenges.
