Swiss Post to partner Austria Post

The German branch of Swiss Post International (SPI) will become a sales partner of Österreichische Post AG at the end of this month.

From ITJ 1/2/02
Swiss Post International, the foreign arm of the Swiss Post, started a distribution partnership with Osterreichische Post AG (Austria) at the end of January this year. In a press release it was claimed that this partnership will enable Swiss Post International to ‘considerably’ improve its services in the small parcel and mail sector for German customers sending to Austria and Eastern Europe. The partnership will help to open the large and potentially lucrative German market to Osterreichische Post. Germany is the most important foreign market for the state-owned Austrian mail service provider.
