Panasonic, brand name for Matsushita Electric Industrial, has appointed Exel to manage a £10.6million four-year contract to centralise its distribution activities across Western Europe in Veghel, Holland. The contract covers inbound handling, storage, picking and packing, with added value kitting, packaging and labelling, serial number registration, custom formalities and distribution to Belgium, Germany, Austria and Panasonic sales offices through Europe.
