Vehicle services
As part of the new Perth superstore’s range of services, the superstore at 66 St Georges Terrace will be the first to allow customers to obtain and renew their driver’s licences.
Australia Post has agreed a partnership with the Western Australia Department of Transport to expand its service portfolio into the in-store provision of drivers’ licences.
Michael D’Souza said general manager of driver and vehicle services at the Department, said metropolitan driver and vehicle services had been recently introduced with Australia Post in Freemantle and had seen a positive response, with customers seeing their post office as a convenient location for key services.
He said of the new Perth superstore: “Customers can access all driver and vehicle services except for practical driving assessments and vehicle examinations in-store. We’re delighted to have another key point of presence for our customers.”
