Deutsche Post AG has rejected a tabloid newspaper report that the company could face an extra EUR1 billion or more in taxes as a result of a sales tax exemption it was granted. The partially privatized mail company also threatened legal action because the newspaper, the mass circulation Bild, reported that it hadn’t undergone regular tax audits.
