Hungarian Post Office to manage internet public procurement system for 10 years

Public procurement on the Internet. The electronic public procurement system will operate as a market place. The system was introduced to the public by Istvan Stumpf, minister at the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, and Istvan Kalmar, director-general of the Hungarian Post Office.

The Hungarian Post Office has been granted concession rights to carry out this activity for 10 years.

First, from April, products falling in the category of centralized public procurement products will be accessible on the electronic portal. Later the system will be able to incorporate the whole process of public procurement from the publication of invitations for bids to electronic payments.
