HayPost looking to become leading national postal operator in Armenia
On October 30th 2012 the official reopening ceremony of completely modernised post offices in Metsamor town and Mrgashat village, Armavir province, took place. The reopening ceremony was attended by the heads of two communities, Narine Seferyan, Commercial Development Director of Haypost, the management and employees of HayPost CJSC, plus residents of the communities.
“HayPost Trust Management” has a special focus on the proper representation of “HayPost” in the regions, and the development of postal and related services. HayPost ensures equal opportunities for provision of services to the residents of cities and remote rural areas.
Each modernised post office, including the front and back offices, has been renovated. The new image developed for HayPost is reflected in every post office, which is completely refurnished and rebranded according to the new image. Along with construction and exterior design works, the labour standards and infrastructure have been also updated and changed; new computers and equipment that meet current programmes have been installed. Post offices are equipped with modern security systems and video recording equipment.
The modernieed post offices began providing services with modern IT technologies, state-of-the-art software and on-line connection to the head office, which provides faster and efficient postal, financial and commercial services to the population.
“HayPost Trust Management” intends to develop the traditional postal service in the Republic of Armenia, and introduce more modern courier, financial and commercial services, so that “HayPost” becomes the leading national postal operator in the regions.
