Algeria Post to install 500 ATMs

Algeria Post has acquired no less than 500 ATMs to be installed throughout its post offices in the coming months.

This information was revealed by the Director General of Algeria post-Laïd Mahloul Mohamed, who said that these ATMs will be installed in the next few months, throughout the various offices of Algeria Post, on the whole national territory, which will reduce the pressure on the counters.
This operation, said the CEO of Algeria Post “will be waiting for the electronic payment via new information technologies, such as mobile phones and the Internet.”
Regarding existing ATMs, said Mr. Mahloul, Algeria Post has the largest distribution network with 700 units installed throughout the national territory.
Referring to the repeated failures of these vending machines, the head of Algeria Post said that this is usually due to the large number of users. “The repairs usually happen very fast, thanks to the private operator responsible for the maintenance of the ATMs” he said.
Regarding attempts to trick retailers, M Mahloul stated that they are very rare, indicating that Algeria Post has a very advanced monitoring system, in addition to 500 agents distributed control on the throughout the country, which ensure the smooth operation of withdrawal.
