Salvesen win contract extension with British Airways World Cargo

Christian Salvesen has signed a multi-million pound extension to its British Airways World Cargo contract. It will now manage BAs 6,500 sq m perishable handling centre at Heathrow, and transport perishable goods across the UK.
Currently 90,000 tonnes of fresh produce is managed annually in the temperature controlled building and the contract was extended because Christian Salvesen had managed to achieve operating cost efficiences and business growth.
