SSI plans new services
A good half-year result by SSI, part of the UK based S&S Distribution Group, a Palletline network member, has led to the planned addition of new services by the company.
Its twice-weeekly groupage and pallet service to Paris is to double to 4 times weekly frequency and a nightly trucking service to Brussels will be added. At the same time, inresonse to customer demand for express delivery to Brussels, SSI has started guaranteeing next day delivery to the Belgian capital for consignments reaching its Tonbridge Kent depot by 1500 hrs the previous day.
