International bulk shipments offering cost benefits

International bulk shipments offering cost benefits

Birmingham-based direct mail fulfilment and print management services provider, Baker Goodchild, has highlighted that its clients could save as much as between 30%-50% on average, by sending their international mail through Baker Goodchild, rather than using Royal Mail’s services. Being an independent provider of bulk mail fulfilment and postal services, Baker Goodchild has invested in specialist bespoke mailing solutions and software, which enable them to identify the most cost effective way of sending mail internationally, providing attractive discounted rates and cost-effective savings at a time when cost, and secure delivery, are paramount.

Commenting on how Baker Goodchild are able to provide such a cost effective and efficient service, Baker Goodchild’s International Mailing Specialist and Account Director, Gareth Stringer, stated, “By forming relationships with the world’s leading postal operators, we are able to analyse each mailing on a “job by job” basis to identify the most cost effective route to delivery without compromising on speed. It is no longer a case of sending every item individually, in many instances a bulk shipment to individual countries for “direct entry” into their domestic postal system can offer huge cost benefits.”

In order to obtain the best optimal price for an international mailing, Baker Goodchild uses a wide variety of postal service providers for an international mailing, who, by using the latest postal sortation and software systems, can sort the mail out to different parts of the world to provide a far more cost effective service.

This applies to all postal formats, such as letters, flat packs, packets and parcels, and can be any number from just 500 to 5million items.

In addition, Baker Goodchild also employs International Mailing and Data Specialists, who have extensive knowledge of the international postal tariffs and route planning for the sending of international mailings.

Based in the heart of Birmingham, close to the city centre, Baker Goodchild is a privately-owned company with over 19 years extensive experience in providing print, mail and postage solutions, throughout the UK and Internationally.

Baker Goodchild will be exhibiting at the Mail & Express Delivery Show 2014, at The Royal College of Surgeons, on Tuesday, 13 May, 2014.
