PhlPost launches new services in bid to raise revenue

SEEKING TO RAISE profits and become more relevant, state-owned Philippine Postal Corp. (PhlPost) yesterday launched three new services under the “Juan Click” monicker. Unveiled at the Manila Central Post Office were the Personalized Stamps, Pinoy e-Mall and PhlPost Mobile App for Social Pension Pay-out programs, which the firm said are “expected to generate revenues without compromising its mandate of providing the lowest possible costs for postal services.”

“PhlPost expects a 10% increase in revenue,” Postmaster General Josefina M. dela Cruz told BusinessWorld.

Personalized Stamps allows consumers to make their own stamps, which can be used not only as souvenirs but also to mail letters.
