PostNL starts evening parcel delivery

PostNL starts evening parcel delivery

PostNL has started offering evening parcel delivery. From now on, consumers can receive their parcels at home on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6.00 pm and 9.30 pm. Evening delivery is an expansion of the PostNL portfolio. Until now, online customers have been able to select next day delivery or request postponement until a specific date and time. Customers can also chose to collect parcels themselves from a PostNL collection point, extra early if necessary, or from a parcel machine.

Evening delivery is an attractive option for many consumers, which is why PostNL started evening delivery on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additional evenings will be added in the future.

To summarise, the service involves the following:

  • Delivery on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6.00 pm to 9.30 pm
  • Delivery guaranteed at home address
  • Delivery almost throughout the Netherlands
  • Collections from consumers are also possible in the evenings

From today, evening delivery by PostNL is available in the online web warehouse fonq.nl. And Coolblue is now also offering this delivery option to its customers. More web shops will make this delivery option available to customers in the coming weeks. PostNL will also make evening delivery available via the PostNL plug-in, making this option even easier to select.
