P2P eSolutions dramatically cuts Australia delivery times

P2P eSolutions, the international delivery solutions provider, has announced that its Wheels Up Clearance service is cutting parcel delivery to Australia by up to seven days during peak season.

Wheels Up Clearance enables goods to be processed quicker from point of entry in Australia to the customer’s door. During off peak season, when parcel volumes are smaller, the service can cut delivery times by 1-2 days.

Australian clearance procedures require all postal deliveries to be scanned or x-rayed upon arrival. However, with P2P eSolution’s Wheels Up Clearance service, parcels are pre-cleared electronically 24 hours ahead of entrance to Australia. The need for a CN22 custom clearance form is also removed. Overall, this facilitates a quicker hand over to local Australian postal carriers.

Beth Chapman, Sales Director, P2P eSolutions said: “Our Wheels Up Clearance service is the outcome of years of industry expertise to develop impartial, innovative and dynamic distribution solutions for online retailers.

The Australian ecommerce landscape is highly competitive; therefore it is essential retailers offer rapid and accurate delivery options. This is particularly important when research shows only 23% of customers are willing to wait eight days or more for most of their purchases.”

“Through the development of solutions like Wheels Up Clearance, we are helping online retailers gain a key advantage in this lucrative market place,” she adds.
