Australian courier Zoom2U set to expand network

Sydney-based same-day courier service provider Zoom2U plans to expand its Australian network. The company, which started operations last year, currently arranges deliveries in its home town of Sydney as well as Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Zoom2U founder Steve Orenstein has now revealed that the company “expects to launch the service in Perth in the next few months”.

Zoom2U customers can choose either a same-day or three-hour delivery service and track the location of their parcels with GPS technology. The drivers are independent contractors who can dictate their own hours of work and which jobs to accept.

The company is also diversifying into offering a “budget” next-day or two-day courier service.
