Korea Post and GeoPost sign MoU

Korea Post has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GeoPost to release a new product targeting the global e-commerce market. According to local sources, Korea Post’s Postal Service Director General Kim Byung-soo signed the MOU with GeoPost President Paul-Marie Chavanne at the 14th Kahala Post CEO Conference held in Hong Kong yesterday (Wednesday, 29 July).

The new product, called eParcel, is an online delivery solution that can ship items of up to 30 kg between South Korea and Europe.

The product, which is slated to be unveiled by as early as the first half of next year, will reportedly cut delivery costs by more than 30%.
