Amazon Prime Now comes to Birmingham

Amazon has extended its Prime Now service to Birmingham. The UK’s “second city” has now become the second UK city to have Prime Now coverage. As previously reported, Amazon gave the service its UK debut in London at the end of June.

Amazon Prime members in Birmingham can now arrange deliveries on more than 20,000 products within one hour of order for £6.99, or they can opt for a two-hour, same-day window for free. The deliveries runs from 8 am through to midnight, seven days a week. The service is also available in the surrounding areas of Birmingham, including Lichfield, Cannock and Tamworth.

Amazon plans to extend the Prime Now coverage to other UK cities before the end of 2015.
