Recent courier market survey reveals DHL domination of Middle East
A recently conducted research program on the courier industry revealed that SNAS/DHL, the region’s leading express courier company and the first one to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia dominates the air express delivery consistently delivering to customers before 9:00 am and before 12:00 pm, announced Harlis Malkic, Country Manager of SNAS/DHL.

Through this organized research, four pick up destinations which included Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Bahrain to seven delivery destinations that included Dubai, Dammam, Beirut, Jeddah, Bahrain, Jubail, and Riyadh were identified. The project had with two waves consisting of documents and packages, and two timings. The findings revealed that DHL consistently outperformed its competitors in delivering first both packages and documents.
The research findings which aimed at evaluating a series of customer services also revealed that DHL is leading the way in terms of customer service including telephone response time, shipment tracking, listening, and comprehension and overall telephone presentation. Other criteria in which DHL also led included the ability to estimate delivery times for customers.
