InPost hosts Malaysian parcel locker roadshow
InPost is holding a series of roadshows in Malaysia to promote the benefits of e-commerce and parcel lockers. InPost Malaysia’s Managing Director Rosland Mohd Jannes has been quoted by local press as saying that the initiative – called ‘Malaysia E-commerce Day (MED) 2015′ – aims to create awareness of developments in e-commerce, e-payments and the logistics industry.
“MED can further boost consumers’ confidence in online shopping as well as help mitigate the customer’s delivery concerns,” he was quoted as saying.
A half-day event was held at the Bukit Antarabangsa Petronas petrol station on Saturday (12 September), and another roadshow is scheduled to take place tomorrow (15 September) at Petronas’ New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) Damansara station.
According to local media agency Bernama, this will be followed by more roadshows “at other Petronas stations where the lockers have already been deployed”.
“InPost self-service parcel lockers are now available at selected Petronas petrol stations, Tesco hypermarkets, TAR University College Kuala Lumpur and soon at selected light rail transit (LRT) stations,” Rosland added.
