eBay Enterprises to provide fulfilment and freight services to Sigma Beauty
Online beauty store Sigma Beauty has signed a multi-year deal with eBay Enterprises which will include fulfilment operations and shipping within the United States and across the globe. Sigma launched as an online-only retailer in 2009 and opened its first bricks-and-mortar store in 2012. When Sigma realized that it needed a partner to upscale its operations, it turned to eBay Enterprise.
“With 80% of packages now going out the same day, Sigma Beauty is able to handle more orders, resulting in higher satisfaction for the customer,” claimed eBay Enterprise.
Tara Vogelgesang, director of operations at Sigma Beauty, added: “Having previously managed our fulfillment in-house, it was a major shift to start working with eBay Enterprise, but it quickly became clear that it was the right move. After a successful launch, we’re looking forward to the fruitful partnership ahead of us.”
eBay Enterprise is providing Sigma Beauty with both inbound and outbound fulfilment services, including branded and custom packaging for business-to-consumer and wholesale shipments.
