Canadian online footwear retailer offering two-hour delivery service

Vancouver-based online footwear retailer SHOES.com is offering home and office delivery in two hours or less on selected items on its Canadian website. The service launched on 17 September in Vancouver and Toronto and there are plans to roll it out to Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa by the end of the year.

Customers can place their orders on SHOES.com’s Canadian website, SHOEme.ca, up to 5 pm and the service costs $19.95 per order.

SHOES.com will use a network of local fulfilment centres.

Roger Hardy, co-founder and CEO of SHOES.com, commented: “The introduction of two-hour delivery for Canadian consumers not only demonstrates our company mission, it puts SHOES.com at the forefront of Canada’s e-commerce market like never before, and will ultimately transform the way Canadians shop online.
