Get Me set to start operations in Austin, Texas

On-demand delivery and ride hailing company Get Me is set to launch a new operation in Austin, Texas. The company was founded in 2014 and began operating in its home town Dallas in August.

According to local reports, Get Me has been hosting recruitment events through which it plans to sign up about 60 “Go Getter Drivers” for its Austin launch.

Get Me is set to launch in Austin tomorrow (1 October).

The Get Me website says that the company also plans to launch in Houston in October. In November, Get Me hopes to be ready to hit Las Vegas.

Get Me co-founder Jonathan Laramy has worked for a number of start-up companies and was director of sales at move.com, according to local reports.
