Connect Group releases preliminary annual results

Connect Group has announced its preliminary results for the year ended 31 August 2015. Revenue from the group was up 3.7% to £1,875.1m and adjusted profit before tax was up 13% to £56.5m. Both this figures, said Connect Group, benefitted from the post-acquisition contribution from B2B delivery company Tuffnells.

Commenting on the results, Mark Cashmore, Group Chief Executive, said: “It has been a transformational year for the Group. Profits were ahead of expectations and we have made significant progress towards our medium-term strategic goals.

“The foundations for further growth are well established, with a clear strategy in each division enabling us to leverage the Group’s capabilities and strengths.

“We are better positioned than ever to continue growing the business and generating strong shareholder returns.”
