USPS issues RFP for next generation delivery vehicles

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has issued the Next Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV) Prototype Request for Proposal (RFP) to prequalified suppliers. The USPS issued the RFP on Friday (16 October) and said that prequalified suppliers’ responses to the RFP are due no later than Friday, 5 February 2016 at 5:00PM EST.

Suppliers will be given the opportunity to visit USPS Delivery Units to observe mail delivery operations.

The USPS operates a fleet of over 200,000 vehicles in all areas of the United States and its territories.
