bpost reports 13.5% growth in domestic parcels volumes

bpost has announced that its domestic parcels volumes for the third quarter (Q3) of 2015 were up 13.5% on the same period last year. The company said that this “excellent” performance was driven by strong e-commerce growth and a continued positive trend in C2C business.

The international parcels business was up €4.2m, “with continued organic growth from the US and and positive FX contribution, but slower growth from and to China”.

The company’s normalized net profit was up €4.7m at €51.3m.
