Spanish direct mail market statistics

The Spanish direct mail market is one hundred per cent liberalised. Equally, city centres have also been liberalised since the sixties. This has meant that the national post office has lost probably 70% of the local market and 90% of the market within the regional province. Ninety per cent is technically illegal but impossible to control. It is clear on a national basis that it has lost 10% to these local licensed operators.
