Drizly and Allrecipes team up
Drizly, the technology company that is developing alcohol delivery services in the US, has announced a strategic partnership with Allrecipes, the food-focused social network, to make on-demand beer, wine and liquor delivery accessible from Allrecipes’ most popular recipes. Through this tie-up, party planners and cooks using the Allrecipes site and app can have ingredients and products delivered direct to their doorstep in less than one hour through the use of a ‘Buy Now” button that connects them directly to the Drizly platform.
“Drizly’s integration with Allrecipes is powering unprecedented convenience to an entirely new audience of shoppers,” said Nick Rellas, CEO and co-founder of Drizly.
Corbin de Rubertis of Allrecipes, added: “Ninety percent of Allrecipes shoppers are using our recipes to inform their food and beverage choices; and more than half of these shoppers are purchasing related ingredients within hours of their visit.
“Our partnership with Drizly allows us to provide these busy cooks with unparalleled levels of convenience while at the same time providing beverage brands the opportunity to be in front of these shoppers with hyper-local, retailer-specific promotional offers at the exact moment they are making their brand choices.”
The Drizly and Allrecipes service is available now to users in the 18 major cities that Drizly currently services.
