PUDO signs deal with US convenience store association
PUDO, a company which is looking to build a parcel pick-up and drop-off service across North America, has entered into a strategic partnership with the AATAC, a national association for US convenience store owners. PUDO, which is operating in the US market through its wholly-owned subsidiary, PUDO Point, said that AATAC’s members, who own thousands of convenience stores across the US, will help build the PUDO Point network as Authorized Dealers.
As PUDO Point dealers, the AATAC members’ stores can accept packages for PUDO Point members and people making online purchases. PUDO Point membership is free.
“Traditionally, retailers and shipping carriers have controlled how their customers receive purchased goods. PUDO puts that power in the hands of consumers by allowing them to control when and how their packages are delivered,” said Frank Coccia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PUDO, Inc. “As e-commerce continues to shift consumer purchasing behaviour, PUDO is providing a new avenue for consumers to enhance and personalize their purchase delivery options.”
“This partnership provides a new level of convenience to our members’ customers as well as the communities they serve,” added Sunil Capita, Associate Director of AATAC.
PUDO said that its network already extends to 5,000 locationsa across North America, and this partnership potentially adds a further 80,000+ locations to which it could expand.
