Jet merger takes off

The merger between the TPG-owned French courier group Jet Services and TNT International Express is about to be finalised, almost a year after it was revealed. The TNT Express France holding firm, which covers the two companies, was created in mid-December and CEO Marie-Christine Lombard was finalising its organisational structure at the same time. She said the group was setting up a coherent strategy based on a network of 130 sites. TNT Express France has a turnover of Eur 490 million, Eur 370 million of which is generated by Jet.
