India and Emirates Posts create closer ties

Training, money transfer and express services are just some of the areas India Post is set to co-operate on with the UAE following discussions on closer ties between the two countries.
Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post, said this latest round of talks with the Indian government were a follow up to a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding already reached between the two posts.
Our discussion revolved around the India Express Parcel, training, IT. logistics and shipping co-operation, our intention of joining the Asia Pacific Group, and how India Post will get our application to the group accepted, said Al Daboos. The other area we talked about is expediting movey transfer, and we my come up with different ways of delivery that will appeal to people of different strata, he added.
