Schneider opens New Jersey warehouse

Schneider has opened a new 147,500 square foot warehouse in Port Reading, New Jersey. According to a statement issued by Schneider yesterday (22 February), the new facility has space for 35 trailer spots and is “conveniently positioned near the Port of New York and New Jersey, the New Jersey Turnpike, Newark International Airport and other key facilities, such as FedEx and UPS”.

“Our new warehouse meets the needs of our customers as well as the demands of the industry,” said John Miller, vice president of commercial development, transloading and distribution.

“In this new location, we’re able to match up port services with outbound truckload, intermodal and team expedited services, offering a seamless approach to customers’ port-to-door requirements.”
