MetaPack appoints Technical Solutions Director

MetaPack has appointed Duncan Licence as its new Technical Solutions Director. Licence, who takes on his new role with immediate effect, has joined MetaPack from iForce, where as Director of IT, he led the technology function and was a member of the operating board. He managed the integration and operation of iForce’s systems and was instrumental in the company’s digital transformation programme, which produced iForce’s first SaaS product, Route Genie.

Commenting on the new appointment,  David Jack, MetaPack’s Global CIO, said: “Duncan’s wide experience and high level of expertise in our industry will be invaluable to the MetaPack management team. He brings an understanding of how technology needs to develop in order to meet the growing and ever-changing requirements of our customers, and we anticipate that implementation turnaround times will become even more efficient under his direction.”

Licence added: “I am looking forward to working with MetaPack’s retail customers to help provide a seamless delivery experience and assist them to achieve competitive advantage through their delivery offering.”
