Veeqo buys ParcelBright.com

E-commerce inventory software specialist Veeqo has bought the London-based courier consolidator ParcelBright.com. According to a report published on TechCrunch and other tech news sites today (8 March), Veeqo has bought ParcelBright for an undisclosed sum in order to bolster its shipping features.

ParcelBright’s founders Daniel Lipinski and Carlos Vilhena will remain involved as  commercial and technical advisors.

Established in 2014, ParcelBright has built an API through which small and medium sized e-commerce businesses can take advantage of the bulk discounts ParcelBright has negotiated shipping companies.

According to TechCrunch, ParcelBright’s service and software will be merged into Veeqo’s.

As previously reported by Post&Parcel, on 25 January ParcelBright announced that it would not be offering any more courier services via its website “due to important changes at Cofundit Ltd which trades as ParcelBright”. Today, however, this message no longer appears on the website.
