Australia’s Sherpa introduces four-hour and same-day delivery service

Australian on-demand delivery start-up Sherpa is now offering four-hour and same day options in addition to existing express two-hour delivery service. The two-hour, four-hour and same-day services are offered across all six cities in which Sherpa operates: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.

Same day delivery jobs will be guaranteed delivery between 7am and 5.30pm with no specific time sensitivity.

The company said that its service allows “anyone to get anything that is locally available delivered straight to their doorstep, including groceries, flowers, dry-cleaning and alcohol, through a network of everyday drivers”.

Sherpa, which launched its delivery operation in March 2015, uses a network of around 9,000 “crowd sourced” drivers.
