Qatar Post hosts collaborative workshop

Qatar Post yesterday (16 March) held a workshop in collaboration with Japan Post, which was also attended by representatives from Saudi Post and the Emirates Post Group (EPG). According to local sources, Faleh Mohammed Al Naemi, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Qatar Post, said that the workshop was an opportunity for the posts and other delegates attending the workshop to “share experiences of mutual interest”.

“We are going through a complete transformation journey and adopting strategic plans to promote the development of the postal sector and services within Qatar,” the Q-Post chairman was quoted as saying by The Peninsula newspaper.

The report in The Peninsula also reported the Chairman of Saudi Post, as saying: “I am here today to share experiences and information with our partners from Qatar, Japan and the UAE about possible means to promote postal services and provide best services for the people in the GCC states, in addition to contributing to e-commerce.”
