Doorstep deliveries in Tanzania

Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) has launched a doorstep delivery service in parts of Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Dodoma. A source at TPC told Post&Parcel that the service has been launched today (5 April) in areas of Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Dodoma where the street name and house numbering systems are sufficiently robust to support a delivery infrastructure.

The TPC source added that the plan is to continue extending the postal delivery service, together with the street name and house numbering systems.
