Jinn picks up $7.5m in Series A funding

London-based on demand delivery specialist Jinn has received $7.5m in Series A funding, which it plans to use to reach out to more UK cities. The  funding came from Samaipata, Elderstreet, Bull Partners and existing angel investors.

Jinn is currently offering delivery services in central London and parts of Manchester. Fast food deliveries are at the core of the Jinn service but the company uses the tag “anything you want, delivered to your door”.

Jinn co-founder and CEO Mario Navarro told TechCrunch yesterday (5 April) that the company is currently seeing 50,000 monthly orders via its app in Central London just two years after launch.
