EPG re-awarded TECOM mailroom management contract

Emirates Post Group (EPG) has been re-awarded the mailroom management contract by TECOM Group.

The renewed contract is for a three-year period.

A dedicated 18-member EPG team, based at TECOM Group headquarters, is servicing the account, handling the collection and delivery of customers’ documents, including visa, medical and other critical documents.

The team manages an average of 800 collections and deliveries a day.

TECOM Group is a “business enabler” that “offers a regional home to over 5,100 companies ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations with a total workforce of more than 76,000”.

EPG said that, following the renewal of the contract, it has upgraded its technology to offer improved services to TECOM Group business partners and customers, including the use of PDAs and handheld printers, for issuing instant airway bills to customers.

Chief Commercial Officer of EPG, Ibrahim Bin Karam, commented: “We are delighted to be re-awarded the TECOM Group’s contract as it endorses the standards and efficiency of our mailroom management service. We have a strong commitment to raise the bar on services offered to our business clients like TECOM. The next stage of our offering will be full integration with TECOM systems wherein all collection and delivery information will be sent to TECOM on the go.”
