UPS appoints new Country Manager for Ireland

Elisabeth Rodriguez has been appointed the new country manager for UPS Ireland. She has taken over the role from Andy Smith, who is now based in London as the Transportation Operations Manager for the UK, Ireland and Nordics District.

UPS has six operating facilities in Ireland, a delivery fleet of more than 120 vehicles, and a workforce of around 300 employees.

Rodriguez started her career at UPS in 2001 in Dublin as a billing administrator. After several administrative and team leader roles, she was promoted to Finance and Accounting supervisor in 2006.

In 2008, Rodriguez was named billing manager for UPS Ireland CSTC, before becoming the new UPS North Europe F&A manager in Brussels starting July 2010. A year later, she took on the role of UPS Europe Small Package finance manager.

Before accepting her current position, Rodriguez was promoted to finance manager for the Nordics in 2014, and was based in Stockholm.
