Bell and Howell sponsors robotics forum

Bell and Howell has signed on as a founding member and technology sponsor of Robolliance, a forum founded by Sharp Electronics which aims to advance the understanding and awareness of autonomous robotic solutions. In a statement issued yesterday (26 May), Bell and Howell said that it will contribute its expertise in the use of mechatronics systems for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).

Bell and Howell added that it had a strong track record in nurturing innovation, having “introduced numerous breakthrough technologies from mail sortation and production automation to intelligent lockers for parcel delivery”. The company added that, “as an early example of its ability to successfully service and support UGVs”, it is currently engaged in a “service and installation partnership program with Savioke and its Relay hospitality robots”.
