World Post &Parcel Awards Winners announced
The winners of the World Post & Parcel Awards 2016 were announced at the gala dinner held at the Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Centre in Poland. Deutsche Post DHL Group won the Corporate Social Responsibility Award, sponsored by MCA, for its Refugee Aid Initiative.
PRIME won the Cross Border Growth Award (sponsored by Lockheed Martin) for its work in delivering tracked services and systems to stimulate cross border growth for posts.
The Customer Service Award (sponsored by Whistl) went to InPost for its “Make it social” customer care programme.
Canada Post picked up the Delivery on Demand Award (sponsored by Fedex) for its FlexDelivery service.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) scooped the PostEurop-sponsored E-Commerce Award for its Informed Delivery service.
LibanPost won the Innovation Award (sponsored by Pitney Bowes) for its Daily Life Facilitator service.
Deutsche Post DHL Group was the People Management Award winner for its Certified initiative and its PeP EXPERT programme. This Award was sponsored by Post&Parcel.
Volvo Car Corporation won the Retail Customer Access Award (sponsored by the Mail & Express Review) for its In-car Delivery service.
CMC won the Technology Award (sponsored by Zebra) for its Cartonwrap technology implementation for Docdata.
The grand finale of the evening was the presentation of the Industry Leadership Award, sponsored by Honeywell, to Herna Verhagen, the CEO of PostNL.
