Jugnoo offering FlightMap software to other delivery players

India’s Jugnoo is making its FlightMap route optimisation API available to other on-demand delivery companies. India-based Jugnoo said that it has been working with the technology company Click Labs to develop an in-house route optimisation solution for its own transport companies: Jugnoo pool (an intra-city travel option); and also Fatafat and Dodo, which specialise in delivery and logistics. And now,  it wants to “open it to rest of the world to use”.

According to local sources, the API will be free to business dealing in a maximum of 100 orders per day. However, business which deal with more orders above the 100-per-day threshold will have to purchase an enterprise plan.

Jugnoo anticipates that the FlightMap solution will appeal to companies involved in providing courier services, as well as grocery and food deliveries.
