Stuart reportedly working with Just Eat in France

Stuart, the European on-demand delivery specialist backed by Le Groupe La Poste, is reportedly working with Just East in France. According to a report published today (26 July) on TechCrunch, Stuart is building delivery into Just Eat’s restaurant meal ordering app.

Just Eat uses the brand “Allo Resto” in France.

Gilles Raison, General Manager of Allo Resto, said: “By tying this strategic partnership between Allo Resto and Stuart, we aim to combine our strengths in order to improve quality of service for both restaurant owners and end customers. Restaurants partnering with us will have access to state-of- the-art software by Allo Resto to fully digitalize their point of sale and an access to the fastest courier service in town with Stuart.”

The restaurant meal delivery business is becoming increasingly competitive in Europe. As Post&Parcel reported earlier today, Take Eat Easy – one of the leaders in the field, which had built up a presence in 20 cities – has just announced that it has stopped operating.
