Parcelforce feels no pain from six of the best

Parcelforce Worldwide has retained a multi-million pound contract from European Parcels Group for the delivery of parcels across the UK.
EPG is a collaboration of 16 European postal administrations which offers a standardised day-certain European parcel service for business and consumer deliveries.

Parcelforce beat off six rival companies to hold onto the contract and will deliver around a million parcels a year to UK addresses.

MD Vanessa Leeson said: “The tendering process was extremely stringent. Each operator was asked to meet 27 specified targets and none of our competitors could beat us on any of the criteria.”
