Caltex looking to trial parcel services at Australian petrol stations
Caltex Australia has indicated that it may trial parcel collection services at some of its petrol stations, as part of a raft of new activities which the oil company hopes will bring in extra revenue streams. Julian Segal, Caltex’s Chief Executive, reportedly told the Australian Associated Press (APP) that the new services will be trialed at pilot sites over the next 18 months or so.
“We will be looking at quick service restaurants and additional convenience services such as collection of parcels and collection and delivery of dry cleaning,” Segal was quoted as saying. “I don’t believe they have been brought together in the fashion we intend to.”
