TPG Post awarded long-term licence in UK

TPG NV said its unit TPG Post UK Ltd was awarded a long-term licence by UK post regulator Postcomm.

TPG is in the first group of companies to be awarded a long-term licence, which will allow it to carry bulk mail and provide consolidation services in the UK from January 1.

TPG intends to provide services to large companies, publishers, mailing houses and direct marketers.

The company will target customers with large individual mailings of over 4,000 items.
