Time’s up for Tok Tok Tok?

France-based on-demand delivery startup Tok Tok Tok has reportedly called time on its physical operations. According to a report published by TechCrunch yesterday (6 September), Tok Tok Tok has sent an email to customers telling them that it is closing down and that its technology platform has been acquired by another company.

As with many on-demand companies, food deliveries were a staple item for Tok Tok Tok – but the European food delivery sector is extremely competitive, and the pressure is even greater now the Amazon has launched its Amazon Restaurants in London today (7 September).
